Information we do not collect

• We do not ask you to create an account or give us your name.
• We do not use analytics, advertising or social media trackers.
• We do not set cookies.
• The times, dates and zones you enter are converted inside your browser. They are not sent to us or stored on any server.

Settings stored in your browser

To remember your preferences between visits, the site saves two small values in your browser's local storage. They stay on your device and are never sent to us.

• tzp:theme remembers whether you chose the light or dark colours.
• tzp:hour12 remembers whether you prefer a 12 or 24 hour clock.

You can remove them at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser settings.

Your time zone

The converter reads your device's time zone setting so it can start from your local time. This happens in your browser and the value is not sent to us.

Server logs

Like almost every website, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical details when a page is requested, such as IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time of the request. These logs are used to keep the site secure and running, are kept for a limited period, and are not used to identify or profile you.

When you email us

If you contact us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message. We use it only to reply and to fix any problem you report. We do not add you to a mailing list or share your message with anyone else.

Links to other websites

Some pages link to other websites, such as the source of our map data. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for how they handle your information.

Children

The site is a general-purpose tool and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your rights
